Four Line Activities by Four Line Software LLC (Crew Call, Game Day Ready, Route Call, Stage Call and Crew Hub) · Updated October 20, 2026 · Questions: support@fourlinesoftware.com
The short version
- Four Line Activities is for adults (18 and older). We don't collect information about students.
- We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
- Assigners see your town, never your home address. Another assigner's games show only as "busy."
- You can download your data or delete your account from your profile at any time.
What we collect
Everyone: name, email, mobile number if you add one, town, the addresses you choose to enter, the organizations you belong to and your role in each, and your notification settings (email, text, phone notifications, quiet hours).
Officials: games you're offered, accept or work; pay amounts and payment status; availability, blocked dates and answers to pre-season availability surveys; certifications, connections to schools, position preferences; game reports you file; and, if you choose, an officials directory listing. If you link your own calendar to mark busy times, we keep only the link and the start and end times of busy events, never event titles, places, notes or attendees. If you sign in to the Officiating Tracker with your Four Line Activities account, we share your name, email and your Crew Call games with the Tracker.
School and district staff: the games, events, trips, vehicles, venues, contests and checklists you enter; ratings of officiating crews you give; contracts you sign (your typed name and the time).
Drivers: driver qualifications your school enters (CDL and DOT physical dates), trips and routes you drive, and trip logs (times and odometer).
Leagues and conferences: shared game schedules (dates, teams, levels, locations) and which schools belong.
Officials associations: membership, dues payments marked by the treasurer, meeting attendance and rules test scores.
People who aren't Four Line Activities users: contest judges a school types in (name, contact, mailing address for pay), visiting music or speech directors who enter their school's entries (name, email), volunteers a school lists, and people who sign up on an officiating interest page (name, contact, town, sports, a note about experience).
Messages you send in Four Line Activities, and ideas or help requests you send us.
Student information
Four Line Activities is designed to stay out of student records. Music, speech and debate entries use codes (like NC-12), not student names, and names are refused. Game reports identify players by team and jersey number only, and injury reports describe what happened and who responded, not medical details. Trips record a head count, not who's riding.
Who sees what
- Assigners you work for see your name, town, contact info, availability and games for their group, plus school ratings and game reports for their games. They never see your home or mailing address. Another assigner's games show only as "busy."
- School business offices see your name, games at their school, pay and mailing address so they can pay you.
- Schools see reports officials file about their home games. Their do-not-assign lists are private to the school; ratings they give go only to the assigner.
- District staff (district ADs, business offices, transportation directors) see the same things at every school in their district that they would at their own school. School staff can use the district's shared buses and venues.
- League schedules are seen by the league's organizers, member schools that accepted, and assigners for those schools. When a league changes a game, games brought in from it change too.
- Assigners' private notes about officials are seen only by that group's assigners.
- Association standing (dues, meetings, tests) is shared with your assigners only if you turn sharing on.
- The officials directory shows only what you list (name, town, sports, levels, experience, travel range, current certifications), only if you opt in, and only to signed-in assigners. Distances are rounded to 5 miles.
- Officiating interest sign-ups go only to that group's or association's leaders and the mentor they assign.
- Ideas appear on the public voting board only after we rewrite them without names or private details.
- Four Line staff can view accounts to help with support. Every staff view is logged.
Services we use
Hosting and database (Railway); email (Google Workspace); text messages (Twilio, once enabled); phone and browser notifications (Apple, Google or Mozilla push services; these carry only a wake-up signal, never the notice itself); address lookups for distance (U.S. Census Bureau geocoder); payments for organizations' subscriptions (Stripe, which holds card details; Four Line Activities never sees or stores card numbers); and encrypted off-site database backups (an S3-compatible storage provider). Four Line Activities doesn't move money to or from officials; it only tracks what schools pay.
Texts, email and notifications
Choose how much email, text and phone notification you get on your profile, and set quiet hours to hold non-urgent ones. Texts go only to a number you've confirmed. Reply STOP to any text to stop them.
Keeping it safe
Access is limited by role, every important change is logged, and backups are encrypted before they leave our host. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we'll tell you promptly.
Your choices
Download your data or delete your account from your profile at any time. Deleting removes your contact details, addresses, directory listing, notification devices and calendar links. Schools keep records of games you worked and what you were paid, as needed for their pay and tax records. Encrypted backups roll off within about five weeks.
Try-it demo
The demo at /demo/ uses made-up people and schools. Nothing you do there reaches real people, and each demo is deleted after a day.
