Terms of use

Four Line Activities by Four Line Software LLC (Crew Call, Game Day Ready, Route Call, Stage Call and Crew Hub) · Updated October 27, 2026 · Questions: support@fourlinesoftware.com

These terms are a working draft and may change before Four Line Activities leaves its pilot. We'll tell you before any change takes effect.

The short version

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. Accounts are personal: one person per account, with your real name and an email address you control. Keep your password and two-step sign-in codes private, and tell us right away at support@fourlinesoftware.com if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what's done with your account.

Most people join because an assigning group, school, crew or association invited them. An organization can remove you from its roster at any time; your own account and history stay yours.

Organizations and their records

Assigning groups, schools, districts, crews and associations ("organizations") decide who joins them and what they record: games, rates, pay status, events, trips, contests, dues and the like. Each organization owns its records and is responsible for having the right to enter them, including information about people it adds who aren't users (for example judges or volunteers). We store, protect and show those records on the organization's behalf, as described in our privacy page.

The person who sets up an organization agrees to these terms for it and confirms they're allowed to.

No student information

Four Line Activities is built to stay out of student records. Don't enter students' names, grades, health information or other education records. Contest entries use performer codes, game reports identify players by team and jersey number, and trips record a head count. We may remove anything that looks like student information.

Pay, money and taxes

We track what officials and judges are owed and what's been marked paid. We never hold, send or receive game pay. Schools and other organizations pay people directly and are responsible for the amounts, for paying on time, and for any tax forms such as 1099s. Pay summaries and tax downloads are a convenience, not tax advice.

Assigning, game day and transportation

Suggestions, warnings and reminders (availability, conflicts, travel, do-not-assign lists, certifications, driver qualifications, readiness checklists) are there to help. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they never replace the judgment of the assigner, athletic director, transportation director or other person in charge.

Texts, email and notifications

By confirming your mobile number you agree to receive texts about your games, events and account. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. You can change which notices reach you by text, email and phone on your profile. Notices can be delayed or missed (phones, carriers and email systems fail sometimes), so check the app for anything important, and use a phone call for emergencies.

Organizations' plans include a monthly number of texts. Past it, notices still arrive in the app and by email.

Plans and payment

Officials, and the basic school features, are free. Organizations pay for subscriptions and add-on modules at the prices shown when they subscribe. Payments are handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew each month or year until canceled; canceling stops the next renewal, and service continues through the period already paid. Except where the law requires otherwise, we don't refund partial periods. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of a price change, which takes effect at your next renewal.

Pilot organizations use the service free during the pilot on the terms we agree with them.

Using it fairly

Don't use Four Line Activities to harass anyone, to post anything unlawful or hateful, to get into accounts or information that aren't yours, to copy or scrape it, to send spam, or to interfere with how it runs. Don't create accounts for other people without their permission. Demo worlds are for trying the product; don't put real people's information in them.

What you add

You keep the rights to messages, notes, reports and files you add. You let us store them, copy them for backups, and show them to the people you shared them with, only to run the service. Ideas you send us can be used to improve it without owing you anything.

Changes, downtime and ending

We work to keep Four Line Activities available and backed up, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or retire features; we'll give notice of any change that takes away something you pay for.

You can download your data or delete your account from your profile at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. An organization can ask us to close its account and export its records.

Responsibility

Four Line Activities is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Four Line Software LLC isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses (such as a missed game, a late payment between a school and an official, or a scheduling mistake), and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount the organization paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if it paid nothing. Nothing here limits responsibility that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms, and the law

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Four Line Activities after that means you accept the change. These terms are governed by the laws of Nebraska.
